Ever heard of the Bakken Formatio?

The U.S. Geological Service issued a report in April (’08) that only scientists and oilmen knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn’t been updated since ‘95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota; and extreme eastern Montana … check THIS out:

The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska’s Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable… at $107 a barrel, we’re looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

‘When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.’ says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature’s financial analyst.

‘This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years,’ reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It’s a formation known as the Williston Basin, but is more commonly referred to as the ‘Bakken.’ And it stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada. For y ears, U.S.oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the ‘Big Oil’ companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken’s massive reserves… and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

That’s enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 41 years straight.

    2. [And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO, people!]

U.S.Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World!
Stansberry Report Online – 4/20/2006 Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world is more than 2 TRILLION barrels.

They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:

-8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
    -18-times as much oil a s Iraq
-21-times as much oil as Kuwait
-22-times as much oil as Iran
-500-times as much oil as Yemen- and it’s all right here in the

    Western United States.

James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we’ve got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels. Untapped. That’s more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don’t think ‘OPEC’ will drop its price – even with this find? Think again! It’s all about the competitive marketplace, – it has to.

Google it. It’s true. What do you think about America drilling now?

So much for the "media" keeping us informed. This should have been headline news. People are being treated like sheep and the media the herders.

Isn’t there a really good chance McCain could die while in office?

Posted by admin on November 30th, 2009 and filed under harvard gazette | 22 Comments »

Then we would be stuck with that crazy right wing nut job Palin who does not believe that birth control should be legal.

"In the U.S., the average life expectancy at birth is about 72 years for men."

    McCain is 72 years old

    http://www.hno.harvard.edu/gazette/1998/10.01/WhyWomenLiveLon.html

Yes, his mother is old and living, but McCain’s father is dead.

Women live longer, much longer than men, about 10 years longer on Average.

We all know the presidency ages a person. How much more aging can McCain stand?

If elected of course there is a very good chance that McCain will not even last 1/2 of his term. McCain is too old, senile, physically and mentally ill individual. Once he passes away America will end up with hypocritical, grossly incompetent, inexperienced lying whore Sarah Palin. It is completely beyond me why Republicans nominated McCain and why McCain picked Palin to be his VP.

on making the song for her? Did they do it because they
felt strongly for it? Or because they were maybe told by PS company to do it? & Why did they base it on her? (Not meant in a mean way there) And if you don’t have a proper answer or don’t no who the gazettE is then piss off! =] (No not the newspaper the BAND)

Ruki wrote the lyrics about her and the band didn’t object.

PSC has rights to pretty much everything, but not their lyrics.

Why does the details of a will appear in the London Gazette when the person did not live in London?

Posted by admin on November 30th, 2009 and filed under gazette | 2 Comments »

My grandmothers will is being dealt with by solicitors, but they have now said that they need to put a notice in the London Gazette and it will take 4-5 months, why is this the case because she didn’t even live in London and how much is it likely to cost?

The London Gazette is the standard publication for putting such items in, and it basically gives notice that the solicitors intending to act on the will unless anyone should come forward before the date given to make any claims against the estate.

The solicitors are basically covering their backs.

I’ve attached an example from the gazette, makes boring reading.

As to cost, I have no idea but unlikely to be expensive, and it would be added to the bill which is paid from the estate of the deceased.

To drill or not to drill, that is the question.?

lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world is more
than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush
    mandated its extraction.

    [(???) What the!??]

They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:

HOW can this BE!? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this!? Because the democrats and leftwing republicans have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil.

[Got your attention/ire up yet? Hope so! Now, while you’re thinking about it … and hopefully P.O’d, do this:

    3. Take 10 minutes and compose an e-mail; fax or good ol d-fashioned letter to all your friends and associates. Alert them to the fact that democrats and ‘liberal’ republicans have been and will continue to obstruct all plans to make America independent of foreign oil. The only solution is to vote all democrats and marxist oriented republica ns out of office.
If you don’t take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you want to complain about gas prices .. because by doing NOTHING, you’ve forfeited your right to complain.

I got this E-mail today, what do you think about that?

I just wonder why Dubya didnt get this email many years before you did.

He thought it was a better idea to invade another country to try and take their oil, why didnt anyone tell him to drill here 8-0 YEARS AGO?

Its all a buncha BS. We dont need to continue relying on oil unless we think millionaires should make more money.

What Are Your Reflections on the Passing of Samuel Huntington The Author of the Civilizations Clash?

He is the author of a well famed book about the clash of civilizations. Much referred to and quoted from.

I hate to admit my ignorance about the man. That he was "one who opposed the invasion of Iraq and had little sympathy for the neoconservatives of the Bush administration." leads me to think I would have liked him.
I am not afraid to admit that I don’t know everything, but I do stand by what I do know.
Thanks to your links I know a little bit more. 8:)
