Scene is the same garbage as Kei when it comes to the hair except dirtier trashier sluttier scum bag outfits… Kei is more focused on costumes is about creating real life anime characters…

emo is short for emotional, so it is a music genre and not a style, but maybe someone has now created the style.:]

VK and Scene came …
VK and Scene came around at basically the same time. Scene is emo only with bright colors. Visual Kei is influenced by Glam Rock and of course Japanese culture. Emo is influenced by hardcore punk (the music anyway). I think the styles are just influenced by generally the same thing, and that’s why they’re so similar. Also, the asian factor might have something to do with it. When my friends wear they’re vk clothes people call them scene because they’re white.
It’s a very thin line.
