“LE CHOIX” CBC-TV 1995 French-language Quebec Referendum Reportage

A French-Canadian broadcaster on the scene during the NO vote of 30 October 1995, qualifies the rising “NO” vote, then at only a margin of “34,434″ as a “majority,” then he corrects himself to say emphatically “an immense majority”. And the final count wasn’t in yet, the margin would rise by a further 20,854 NO votes, for a final NO margin total of 54,288. On 22 August 2000, almost 2 years to the day of the 30 August 1998 Secession Reference, the Supreme Court of Canada DISMISSED an appeal by the Gazette newspaper and others to make available to the public 86,500 maliciously spoiled “NO” ballots, excluded from the 30 October 1995 total. The federal “Clarity” Act had been passed in June of 2000 statutorily recognizing the “principles” the Supreme Court in 1998 had declared to govern a referendum o secede, principles they said came from the “foundation” of the Constitution as far back as 1867. Yet, when virtually the SAME Supreme Court of Canada bench was asked in 2002 to examine those NO ballots, “clarity” suddenly didn’t matter at all for the “NO”. They dismissed the appeal. They threw it out, forever hiding the REAL nature of the “NO” vote cast on 30 October 1995. A result that may well have been CLEAR and capable of putting a FINAL end to referendums to destroy Canada.
