My aunt died at age 16 in 1973 before I was born, and I’d really like to read the article on her tragic death online, My mother & her sister would also like to read it. Her name was Mary O’neil, She died in October 1973 – The article was featured in the Shepard bush gazette.

i’d be amazed if you found an online archive of a local paper. Your best bet is what we all used to do pre-internet: go to a local library (local to Shepherds Bush) and see if they have copies of the paper on microfiche. Failing that, contact the British Library

I would try contacting the paper direct as they will have archives stored. Chances are that they can’t put everything online. Perhaps they would even be able to do an article asking if any readers have information on her or knew her. Good luck
