What I’m trying to say is that the GazettE hates the terms “indie” and “major”. For example, PSC isn’t necessarily a major label, but they do have a seperate “Indie PSC” section. For the GazettE, they don’t care whether they are labeled major or indie, they themselves consider them neither.
Also, the interview is quite old, I think it was from 2003-2004. Can’t remember the exact magazine/issue, sorry.
