I have a question about owing a friend some money?

A friend of mine gave me $20 and some material and patterns for me to send to a seamstress I know. Well the seamstress takes limited orders now and I never did get around to getting her dress made for her. I still have her pattern and material however at my house. Well now she says she gave me $50 for this dress which is a big lie. I know it was just $20. This person is a tightwad gazette when it comes to money and she’s becoming way too money hungry for me to even like her anymore. Would you pay her the $20 or the $50?

I’ve been in that situation quite a few times haha, pay them what they gave you, they didnt ask for interest when it was loaned out!
